This isn’t going to work out”-Where did my petals go?
I have been through relationship rollercoasters, and what it has taught me, is to take care of myself and fully blossom into the woman I have strived to be.
About two years ago, I was crushed emotionally by a breakup that has now transformed me into who I am today. At that moment when I heard “ This isn’t going to work out” come out of his mouth, my petals had dropped, but also a spark ignited within. At first I thought it was a broken heart, my crushed spirit, but sure enough it was my soul that was eager to blossom.
Though I was completely crushed and felt as if I lost my self worth, I made a point that although it takes time for a broken heart to heal, I can take responsibility for myself and be healthy.
I can pick up my petals, love myself harder and be more joyful with life. So, I decided it was time, to dig my dirt, pull the weeds and begin planting my flower garden.
Once I began planting my garden of transformation, life blossomed in a magical way. I began to blossom into a woman who claimed her own power and magnificence. Although, I am not perfect and still have much to learn, I am emotionally, physically and spiritually healthy. I am highly motivated to serve a community of women who are ready to blossom and step into who they are. If I am willing to face my dirt, plant my seeds and blossom, just imagine what you can do.
The Fallen Petals and Crushed Spirit- How I Began to Transform from a Seed to a Flower
Relationships can dig up a lot of dirt in your flower garden. They can uproot the vibrant flowers and poison the soil. But, it’s never permanent. You can always buy new soil, build another garden, and plant healthier seeds.
The past relationship had taught me a lot about myself, and look at who I was in a different light. The break up ignited my inner guide, and lead me back to who I truly was. It brought me back to the woman who would run outside under the sun, dig her hands in the soft soil, get in touch with herself through yoga, fitness and nutrition; along with connecting with people who have always been by my side. I learned that breakups can be stressful on the body. When your body is stressed, it sends your adrenal glands, cortisol and thyroid for a loop (causing weight gain). I also learned about chakras, acupuncture, holistic healing through yoga. Also, exercise and meditation is a MANDATORY nutrient for your soil to help you bloom. It keeps your soul, and head happy happy! Which is the most important aspect of healing.
Healing a Heart with Exercise and Holistic Healing
I believe personally that even though a heartbreak is soul crushing, that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world. If I can pull through, and believe me I am probably one of the most sensitive souls you’ll ever meet, you can do it too.
I believe deeply, and personally of support from other women in your circle, fitness, yoga, creativity and self care. When you turn your back on yourself, and don’t put yourself first and practice self care, your soil will become toxic. Why do you want toxic soil anyway? Nothing will ever grow. You want growth in your life.I truly believe in a balanced approach to healing, especially with the heart, body and soul. I want to see a world where even if our souls are crushed, that we release the fear of rejection or feeling of unworthiness and embrace that magnificent power within.
